Rugged Collimating Lens for Harsh Process Environments and Vacuum
Robust and rugged high-vacuum compatible UV-VIS-NIR range collimating lens features three lens sizes (6, 12.7 and 25.4 mm), standard connection interfaces, low outgassing in vacuum, a two-part body made of stainless steel with precision adjustment mechanism to control the distance between the lens and the optical fiber tip.
Collimating lens enables converting divergent beams of light into a parallel beam and vice versa. These lenses were designed based on extensive field feedback and are optimized for the UV-VIS-NIR range between 200 and 2000 nm.
The unique rugged fiber-optical components were developed specifically for demanding and often harsh industrial and scientific vacuum and plasma processing applications. Reliable and continuous operation with minimal optical signal transfer losses in the temperature range of up to 250 deg.C is provided.
